Dr. Bauman's Latest Books

pilgrim theologyTheology should be an exploration and a discovery rather than the provincial holding action it often becomes. Bauman offers a challenge to the fortress mentality that too often prevails in evangelical studies and tells students how to construct a theological method for intellectual pilgrimage. This volume is a call to a Biblical, analytical, and tolerant theology.

summreadWritten by notable and respected Summit lecturers, this volume contains sixteen essays in honor of David Noebel's 70th birthday.

Known universally and affectionately as “Doc,” David Noebel has touched the lives of tens of thousands of students at Summit Ministries, over which he has presided for well over 40 extraordinary years. Under his leadership, that ministry has grown both nationally and internationally. Doc has witnessed first hand how his efforts have flowered among and across three generations of students. Many of those he taught in the 1960s later sent their children to him, and those children are now doing the same with their own, fully confident that the invaluable training they received at his hands will set their own progeny in good stead, no matter what challenges they might face well into the 21st century.

roundtable

In these conversations, Michael Bauman asks eleven distinguished
European theologians penetrating questions about various subjects
including doubt in our time, creeds, the gospel, the church's
problems, a good life, and a good death. Their responses are always
profoundly thoughtful and sometimes deeply moving.
